HBRC Projects: Research and Innovation Development

Together with partners (National Cancer Institute, Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos, Innovative Medicine Institute, LSMU Kaunas Clinics, and Lithuanian University of Health Sciences), is implementing HBRC (Human Biological Resources Center) project funded by the European Union's European Regional Development Fund under the 2014-2020 EU Funds Investment Operational Programme Priority 1 'Promotion of Research, Experimental Development and Innovation' measure 01.1.1-CPVA-V-701 'Development and Integration of Research, Experimental Development and Innovation Infrastructure into European Infrastructures', which funded the creation of VU MF LPRLB infrastructure. Implementing the Horizon Europe acceleration project – Preparation for EIC Pathfinder Open application. The project aims to properly prepare for the EIC Pathfinder Open application, evaluate the potential to create an innovative biobank information system platform that addresses the complex needs of users and participants in health, research, and educational environments, and determine how the project idea should be technologically implemented to achieve goals in strictly regulated primary and secondary health data use contexts. The project is funded by the Economic Recovery and Resilience Facility under the 'Next Generation Lithuania' plan and the Lithuanian state budget.

VU MF The Biobank of Lithuanian Population and Rare Disorders Acceleration Project

VU Faculty of Medicine The Biobank of Lithuanian Population and Rare Disorders is implementing an EU-funded Horizon Europe acceleration project – Preparation for EIC Pathfinder Open application.
