Main Goals

• Systematically collect, store, and study biological samples from Lithuanian residents as well as related personal health information, to advance medical science and improve the health of the entire society;

• Promote national and international scientific collaboration, contribute to the development of personalized medicine, modern biomedical research in Lithuania, and the creation of disease prevention, diagnostics, treatment, and monitoring tools;

• To carry out academic activities - to participate in study programs implemented by the Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine; to provide opportunities for young scientists to get involved in the activities of The Biobank of Lithuanian Population and Rare Disorders.
