All your health information processed in the Biobank is strictly confidential. Personal data collected and anonymized for the Biobank purposes is stored securely in Vilnius University's network - in data repositories and servers with security measures in place, including protection against automated cyber attacks and firewalls. Physical access to systems is granted only to authorized, specially trained personnel, taking into account their responsibilities. Continuous maintenance of the network, servers, and other parts of the information system is carried out, along with log monitoring and software updates. All employees have signed confidentiality commitments to ensure data protection.
