The Population Biobank Has Begun Its Journey Across Lithuania's Regions

During the meeting, the latest diagnostics and treatment options for rare diseases, along with the contributions of scientific research and new technologies, were presented to the community. Event guests were also given the opportunity to become participants in the population biobank.

We are delighted that as many as 11 event guests decided to contribute to scientific progress—we are now 11 steps closer to a better understanding of diseases and more advanced methods of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.

We would like to thank the co-creators of this initiative, the patient organization 'Retos ligos' (Rare Diseases), for a value-creating meeting. We also extend our gratitude to our event partners—the Coordinating Center for Rare Diseases of Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos and the Republican Panevėžys Hospital—for the tour of their modern facility and for their warm welcome.
